MAC offers a range of long wearing makeup ranging from eyeshadow to foundation. Check out my little summary below to see what they offer if you are interested in long wearing makeup.
Pro Longwear Lipcreme: This is a lightweight, creamy product that is long wearing and comfortable to wear. Unlike other long wearing lip products from MAC, there is no need for a top coat. These are meant to last about 12 hours without transferring or feathering. The colour stays true on the lips over the course of the day and it leaves the lips felling soft and hydrated. This is great for people who want long wear lip colour that is applicable in one quick step. It glides on making it super easy to wear and apply.
Pro Longwear Lipcolour: This product is a long wearing lip colour that you can apply in two steps. The colour base glides on and after it’s dried the gloss coat gives a nice finish to the lips. It’s soft and comfortable to wear and it won’t smudge, run, transfer or feather throughout the day. The colour base is an intense colour, which makes if different from the Pro Longwear Lustre Lipcolour. This is great for people who want a long wearing lip colour but don’t mind it being a two-step process. It’s great for people who want intense colour and a glossy finish.
Pro Longwear Lustre Lipcolour: This product is a two-step application lip colour that gives a sheer to medium coverage. It’s rich, lustrous and moisturizing on the lips and it doesn’t smudge, transfer or feather. This is a lot less intense than the regular long wear lip colour. The top coat gives a great glossy look and it can be brought alone. This is great for people who want longwearing lip colour that isn’t as intense as most long wear lip colours. The sheer to medium coverage is great for day to day wear or office makeup.
Pro Longwear Eyeshadow: These shadows are a unique, long wear formula that last 8 hours without primer or a base (in my case at the very least). They have a silky, creamy formula with maximum colour intensity. They are smooth, buildable and really blendable. These are great for people who have trouble making shadow lasting a long time, or for someone who wants a shadow that is larger than the normal MAC shadows or just wants to try a different colour.
Pro Longwear Lip Pencil: This product sticks to lips right way. It glides onto the lips like a liquid, whilst still defining lips like a lip liner/pencil should. It gives a reach colour and is transfer proof. Great colours in this range include Kiss Me Quick (A yellow red colour) and Nice n Spicy (A pink cinnamon colour). These are great for people who don’t want a lip colour like a lipstick or the lustre colours. They last all day and can be used alone, under other lip products or with a balm to keep lips moisturized.
Pro Longwear Concealer: This product, paired with Pro Longwear foundation, creates a face base that lasts all day long. If you have trouble making concealer stay put, this is the one for you. This is great for people with oily skin that find it hard to make concealer stay where they put it. This is mostly for under-eye circles and discolouration, and isn’t really meant for use on blemishes. The concealer is a lightweight fluid with medium to full coverage with a natural matte finish on the skin. The colour stays true all day and lasts about 15 hours.
Pro Longwear Foundation: This foundation has SPF 10 in the formula and wears for about 15 hours without issue. Its lightweight formula creates a sheer to medium coverage whilst leaving a smooth look to the skin. It controls oil and overall gives the face a fresh, natural and flawless look. It’s a great foundation for all weather types, especially hot and humid weather. This is great for people with oily skin or for those who live in hot areas with a lot of humidity.
