Colour Stay Mineral Lip Glazes

Ive had these for quite a while but i figured i do a review in them before the insanity starts with the UK release of Revlon Lip Butters. i have two shades of Revlon ColorStay Mineral LipGlazes. Check out the swatches at the end for a visual on the shades I have.

the colours
The two shades that I have is 505 NeverEnding Nude and 520 Unlimited Nectar.

The NeverEnding Nude shade has little to no shimmer and is a very pink shaded nude. It’s reasonably dark and because it’s very pigmented it shows up the colour of the tube on the lips. I would say along with the pink colour there is a slight brown tinge to it but it’s not a horrible brown and it adds to the nude colour.

The Unlimited Nectar shade is a orangey nude colour with pink shimmer running through it. The shimmer is very subtle and it doesn’t pick up to much so it’s not an obtuse pink shade.

the negatives

these have a very strange smell to them. I can’t quite put my finger in what it is but I don’t really like it. I don’t dislike it enough to not wear them but they would be much better if they didn’t have that smell to them.

I’m not a fan of Dow foot wands. I prefer a brush. I’m not really sure I should put this as a negative because it’s just personal preference but I would prefer a brush tip applicator.

When you pull the wand out you get a lot of product on it and it’s not just on the applicator, you get a lot on the plastic as well. I think the top of the tube could be a bit smaller so you didn’t get as much product come out because it can be a bit messy.
