What I Did:
I started out by moisturising my skin, and then I applied the BB cream with my fingers after that. The BB cream gives an okay coverage and it’s just enough for me on an everyday basis.
Then, just to cover up blemishes and under-eye circles, I took Astor Anti Stress concealer and lightly applied that under my eyes and over my blemishes with my fingers.

On my cheeks, I used TopShop Cream Blusher in Flush, which is a gorgeous pink shade. I took that on an ELF Studio Stipple Brush and blended is all over the apples and my cheeks and out towards my hair line.

For my eyes, I applied the colour tattoo eyeshadow all over the lid with my ring finger, just giving my lid a sheer was of colour. I love this colour but I’m too scared to wear it alone or to set it with an equally vibrant purple so I took a glittery medium brown shade form my heaven and earth palette and brushed it all over the area covered with the purple colour tattoo. For that I used a Real Techniques Shader Brush, I then brought it under my eye a little with a Real Techniques Detailer Brush. This brush isn’t meant to be used for shadows I don’t think but I find it gives me the perfect smoky line under my eye. I curled my lashes with my No7 eyelash curler. Today, for the first time, I tried Lash Catcher in Black Cat from Topshop. I liked it. It was a little sticky and clumpy but if you apply two coats; one after the first has dried completely it looks nice. It’s not too dry or too wet and you don’t get a stupid amount of products on your wand when you take it out.

The first time I did this makeup, I used my Revlon Lip Butter in Sweet Tart but I switched that out for Dainty Doll Material World.

This make up is simple that can be played up with some dramatic liner or a dramatic lip, but it’s great for everyday and it has a little colour for those who are a little scared of it like me. The colour tattoo comes through the shadow just enough that you can see the purple but it’s not too much.
